Job Description: Clergy & Church Administrator

Firmly grounded in the divine doctrines and ordinances of the CCC, our mission is to shine the light of Christ in our community and nurture believers in their walk with God.
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Clergy & Church Administrator to join our leadership team. The successful applicant will work closely with the Parish Shepherd and church leadership to provide spiritual oversight, support departmental development, and ensure effective administrative and operational management of the parish.
Key Responsibilities
1. Spiritual Leadership and Worship
– Lead and assist in planning worship services, vigils, and special programmes in accordance with CCC liturgical standards.
– Deliver sound teachings, sermons, and spiritual guidance based on the Holy Scriptures and CCC doctrine.
– Administer sacraments, spiritual ordinances, and altar services with reverence and adherence to CCC practices.
– Support the parish shepherd in providing spiritual direction and fostering a culture of holiness and devotion.
2. Pastoral Care and Discipleship
– Provide pastoral counselling, prayer support, and one-on-one spiritual care to members.
– Lead Bible study sessions, discipleship classes, and spiritual development programmes.
– Promote spiritual growth across all age groups, from children to elders.
– Organise and participate in retreats, vigils, and other spiritual enrichment activities.
3. Community Engagement and Evangelism
– Lead and coordinate the parish’s outreach and evangelism efforts in Middleton and neighbouring areas.
– Represent the church in community networks, interfaith engagements, and ecumenical programmes.
– Support initiatives that strengthen the church’s presence and positive impact in the local community.
4. Oversight of Choir and Church Departments
– Provide leadership, mentoring, and spiritual oversight to the choir, youth ministry, and service units.
– Work with departmental heads to promote growth, discipline, and effective service delivery.
– Encourage collaboration and unity across all church departments.
5. Administration and Communication
– Oversee daily administrative functions of the parish, including correspondence, scheduling, and documentation.
– Manage internal communications, weekly bulletins, announcements, and digital outreach platforms.
– Coordinate with the Parish Committee on ministry planning, reporting, record keeping, and compliance with CCC standards.
– Support financial administration processes such as reporting, budgeting assistance, and record management (as required).
– Ensure organised filing systems, membership databases, and digital records for efficient parish operations.
Person Specification
Essential:
– A committed and active member of the Celestial Church of Christ.
– Ordained clergy (Evangelist, Shepherd, Senior Evangelist, or higher) with a minimum of five (5) years registered service under CCC Worldwide.
– Deep understanding of CCC tenets, ordinances, liturgical practices, and ecclesiastical hierarchy.
– Strong leadership qualities with proven integrity, maturity, and interpersonal skills.
– Passionate about spiritual development, evangelism, and pastoral care.
– Organisational ability and reliability for administrative responsibilities.
Desirable:
– Formal theological education or ministerial training.
– Experience serving in multicultural, urban, or growing parish environments.
– Proficiency in digital tools for modern ministry (email, social media, presentation tools, online communication).
– Ability to engage, mentor, and lead youth and young adults effectively.
– Experience in church administration or office management.
Prayer Pastor
Job Description
The Prayer Pastor would be responsible for leading the prayer department; organising and scheduling the church’s prayer activities; leading the church members to an active prayer life; conducting prayer services and meetings; performing pastoral care; interceding on behalf and praying for general needs of the church, church members, the community and nations of the world.
Lead Evangelist
The Lead Evangelist would be responsible for leading the evangelism department; preaching the gospel devotedly to both believers and unbelievers; lovingly calling the unconverted to repentance and directing them to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation; carrying out pastoral duties; conducting church services and teaching other believers the mandate of witnessing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Children Pastor
The Children Pastor for children department would be responsible for leading the children department; teaching the children Christian values and morals; performing pastoral duties and conducting services in accordance with our Christian values, mission and visions; building a child-friendly environment that focuses on Health and Safety requirements; preparing educative spiritual materials for the children; engaging the kids in creative arts and crafts for the children.
