Qualification
- Minimum of five years’ experience leading a prayer ministry/department
- A qualification equivalent of level 4 and a minimum IELTS band score of 5.5
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the prayer department and the congregation in developing a prayer ministry
- Organise, schedule and provide general leadership for the church’s prayer ministry and activities.
- Ensure that prayer is encouraged, engaged and integrated into every department of the church.
- Lead the congregation in prayers, praise and worship
- Plan and organise special prayer services and programmes for the church (prayer meetings, intercessory prayers, all night prayer vigils etc.)
- Perform pastoral care duties in accordance with our constitution
- Prepare and deliver sermons and deputise for the Senior Pastor when required
- Work as a team with the Senior Pastor and other Pastors and leaders in growing the ministry
Requirements for the role
- Must be a born-again Christian, believe in Jesus Christ as the only begotten son of God, the Holy Spirit and the Holy bible as the word of God
- Must have a personal relationship with God and believe in the significance of prayer
- Must have compassion for the church, its members, the community and nations of the world
- Must have love and respect for people
- Active, daily, personal devotional life
- Open to the move and voice of God
- An active, committed Pentecostal Christian
- Public speaking skills
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English Language
- Ability to lead church services
Experience
- Experience of leading a prayer ministry such that the entire church ministries are developed
- Experience of planning and organising special prayer services and programmes for the church (prayer meetings, intercessory prayers, all night prayer vigils etc.) is desirable
- Experience of working proactively alone and within a team with no supervision
- Experience of working within an ethnically diversify environment, and understanding the challenges of Christians in a black minority environment
- Experience of teaching and leading congregational prayers in an ethnically diverse congregation is desirable
Lead Evangelist

Qualification
- Evidence of active evangelical/missionary work
- A qualification equivalent of level 4 and a minimum IELTS band score of 5.5
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the evangelism department
- Support Sunday morning services, preaching and involving others in leading and preaching as appropriate
- Teach church members to share their faith effectively, and answer common questions and objections from the surrounding post-Christian culture
- Lead the church into building and developing relationships with people, welcoming them into the church family and sharing Christ’s love with them
- Preach and speak at other services or functions from time to time, including conducting public services such as baptisms
- Provide baptismal classes to prepare people for the significant event
- Encourage and maintain an outward-looking focus within the church
- Perform pastoral care duties in accordance with our constitution
- Maintain an understanding of individual circumstances and attend to their personal and spiritual needs by prayer, visitation, encouragement and guidance with the help of other leaders and Senior Pastor

- Knowledge of the West African/Caribbean culture including ability to speak one local African language
- Ability to minister to the needs peculiar to that ethnic group is desirable
Experience
- Active evangelical/missionary experience
- Experience of leading the church in building and developing relationships with people and sharing the love of Christ with them
- Experience of conducting routine church services and public services such as baptisms in an ethnically diverse congregation is desirable
- Experience of working proactively within a team and with no supervision
- Experience of offering pastoral support and ensuring that priority is given to those in most need particularly those from different cultures, minority ethnic groups whose first language is primarily not English so that they do not drift away from the church in times of difficulty
- Ability to understand some of the challenges and complexities that migrants face and support them
Children Pastor

Qualification
- A relevant Bachelor’s degree or qualification equivalent of level 6
- A qualification equivalent of level 4 and a minimum IELTS band score of 5.5
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the children department
- Create child-friendly environment that considers Health and Safety requirements
- Teach the children Godly values and morals
- Prepare and deliver child-friendly sermons including creative and educative spiritual materials for children
- Engage the children in creative arts and crafts
- Organise and provide suitable snacks and meals for the Children
- Lead the children church in praise, worship and prayers
- Deputise for the Senior Pastor
- Perform pastoral care duties and conducts some services in accordance with our constitution
Requirements for the role

- Active, daily, personal devotional life
- Open to the move and voice of God
- An active, Pentecostal Christian
- Ability to communicate effectively with adults (parents, team members, church leadership etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with children and young people and proficiency in English Language
- Ability to use modern and innovative ways to communicate
- Ability to lead or participate in church services
Experience
- Regularly leading under 18s clubs in a church or Christian organisation
- Actively leading under 18s discipleship in a church context, (e.g. Sunday School)
- Experience of team leading
- Experience of organising holiday clubs
- Ability to work proactively and with minimal or no supervision
- Experience of teaching children the bible and leading congregational worship in an ethnically diverse congregation is desirable.
